I had a close friend call me up and ask about what to do with a new Wilwood master cylinder that he just bought. The problem was that the black anodized didn't really fit his car and that he was in the process of polishing the main body but he didn't know how to handle the lid. Ultimately, he said, he would like a lid that was finned aluminum to match the rest of the copious amount of finned aluminum on the car. So, since he is in Charlotte, I told him to send the lid up and I will see what I could do...
I recieved the lid Monday afternoon and after about 10 minutes of CAD work, another couples minutes of getting the model ready to print and 4 hours of printing, I had this....
Now, since it's only printed out of ABS plastic, it's strictly a prototype. I wanted to make sure he was happy with the fins and overall fitment before I started cutting aluminum....we will see, it's in the mail on his way back to him.
