Convert you '37 to '47 Chevy truck 216 to a modern drive train. This adapter allows for an unmodified '83-'93 S-10 T-5 to direct bolt to the engine. The standard S-10 T-5 has a longer input shaft and bearing retainer than a standard GM 3 or 4 speed and this adapter compensates for that. It has a 4-3/16" diameter register on the bell housing side and a 4-11/16" diameter counter bore on the transmission side. This adapter allows for the use of the original pedal assembly.
The bolt holes on the bell housing should measure as follows: center to center on the top holes measure 7-3/4" and center to center on the bottom holes measure 7-1/4".
This pattern on the S-10 transmission is as follows: center to center on the top holes measure 8-1/4" and center to center on the bottom holes measure 9-1/8".
Includes all necessary hardware.
NOTE: If using a stock '37 bell housing, additional machining will have to be done to allow for use of the original clutch fork pivot ball. Please contact me before ordering so that this can be done.
