BMW progress pics....

I was planning on finishing the sheet metal work up on the BMW...except I ran out of Argon for the welder.

Progress pics on the '56....

The '56 is moving along quite nicely.  We are continually marking items off of the to-do list.  After bleeding the brakes, the next big item is installing the front clip.

After much hassle, the dome light finally works.  One question I have though...why does the dome and interior lights work off of switched ground?  I haven't found a suitable answer.  If anyone knows, please let me know.

The drive shaft was fairly straight forward.  It required a conversion joint from a 1310 to a 1344 on the rearend side.  Conveniently, Summit had them in stock, PCN 372

New project....

Guess I am ready for another project.  More posts to follow...

It's been awhile...

Sorry that it has been so long since I have posted anything.  Things have been busy in the machine shop and I haven't had anytime to work car related stuff.  Most of my time has been spent on general machining stuff that really isn't too exciting.

As for the '56 truck, we have done a bunch of little stuff that doesn't show up in pictures too well.

So, hang in there, there are plenty more projects in the works...

Customer pics....

I recently got some pictures from a customer of an S-10 T5 going together behind a 250 Chevy.  He is getting ready to install it in a 1st series '55 Chevy Truck.  He used adapter T5-4116 .

Nice and fresh...

Good News!!!!

Material is in for the T5 adapters and we are machining as we speak.

I also am going to make up a small run that have a 5 1/8" diameter register on the bell housing side.  These are for '67-'68 Chevy trucks with the large four speeds.  The standard adapters have a 4 11/16" diameter register.  Both adapters have a 4 11/16" diameter register on the transmission side for the bearing retainer register.
